Full Marathon(42.195 kms), Half Marathon (21.097 kms), 10k and 5KM FUN WALK or RUN

This year's event is scheduled for Sunday, 11th Dec.
The Marathon starts first at 4:30 a.m.
Half marathon starts at 6:00 a.m.
10K competitive run starts at 06:45 a.m.
The 5K event starts at 8:30 a.m.
Participants need to be at the venue at least 30 minutes before the start.

It will be held on the grounds of Village Panchayat of Chicalim, Goa. Google Map to the Venue

All traffic along the race route will be halted for six-and-a-half hours from 04:30 a.m.. After that i.e. after 10:30 A.M., there will be partial traffic in many places and thereafter full traffic will be open. Any participant running with the event bib after 11:00 A.M. that will be lifted off the course on our vehicles. This is being done for the safety of the participants and under orders of the local law authorities.

Yes! We will be placing many photographers at strategic locations along the route. Wave and make sure your bib number is visible to them because there will be a photo-search-by-bib facility available from 19th Dec onwards on this website.

Eligibility for the timing certificate:
For marathon: cross the finish line within six-and-half hours from start.
Half marathon : 3.15 hours,
10KM : 1.45 hours.
Timing mats will be removed at 11:00 AM.

No. However, at time of registration, you have to upload your final vax certificate or show digital version of it at time of collecting the bib.

Required physical distances to be maintained at the expo and during the event, with no major crowding to occur at any time. For this below precautions have been taken by the organisers:

1. Bib Distribution and Expo is happening at the same open grounds as the Race Venue.
2. Distribution counters and stalls will be scattered at the grounds.
3. Wearing masks, hand sanitizing and physical distance to maintain from other participants.
4. There will be a staggered race start, where for each event, a group of 100 participants at a time interval of 5 minutes. Below it is explained how the start for each race will happen in a staggered manner. No requests for being in a particular start group will be entertained and request you to please understand and refrain from asking for the same.
5. The winners will be evaluated based on their individual NET TIMING AND NOT THE GUN TIMING. So please don't worry if you are not in the group of the first starters. You will be put in any start group, by the organisers, which will be random based and not on your previous Personal Best.

REQUEST FOR CHANGE IN REGISTRATIONS FOR RACE CATEGORY:
Above will be allowed till the 24th of NOVEMBER. After this date no request for change in category will be allowed.

Please note that organizers have no way of knowing what goes on at the Goa border. Officially, RT-PCR is not required if final vax certificate is available.

FREE TRANSPORT OPTIONS TO THE RACE VENUE AND BACK:
Same is available only for participants staying in Vasco City only.

Bus service will be provided from 3.30 am on race day at regular intervals to the nearest point of start point from Vasco Da Gama railway station. However the organisers will not be responsible for you not reaching on time. Plan your trip on the bus accordingly.

To register, please visit your event page (Marathon, Half-Marathon etc.) and clicking on the registration button and paying through a choice of Debit Card / Credit Card or Net Banking.

It covers your right to participate in the marathon and make use of all event related facilities including emergency physiotherapy at race venue. The fee also includes a engraved medal.

Yes, it can purchased seperately at cost price during the event and at a huge discount after the event at this location

Only Open Category prizes of all events will be declared on the day of the event.
Age category prizes will be announced after 3 days and distributed within a fortnight from the date of the event.
Prize winners In the open age category, should necessarily provide details of bank accounts in India.

Yes - Participants of the SKF-Goa River Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K timed run will receive a bib and a timing chip. 5K participants will only receive a bib.

To collect your race kit, please carry :
1. Your registration confirmation email / SMS
2. ID Proof with address.
Your race kit and Bibs will be distributed on these dates and times:

Date : 9th Dec between 11 am to 0700 pm
10th Dec between 0930 am to 0700 pm.
In case you cannot make it at the above times please authorize your friend to collect same on your behalf with:
1. Authorization letter signed by you
2. Copy of your registration confirmation email
3. Copy of ID proof

You can register manually for the 5Km walk-run during the EXPO. Forms too will be available during the EXPO. Registration for other categories is subject to availability.

For the Full Marathon and Half Marathon the minimum age to participate is 18 years. 10k the minimum age to participate is 16 years. For the 5KM CHARITY FUN WALK-RUN, children up to 12 years of age need to be accompanied by adults.

Last date for the 5KM FUN WALK-RUN is 05th December 2021 (Online) and spot registrations will be accepted at the Expo Venue on 10th & 11th Dec. Registration for all other categories will close on 30th November. We request you to register early and not wait till the end. Only those who register before 22 November, 2021 will have their names printed on their bib.

Sorry, no cancellations are possible and registration fees are non-refundable.

Refund will be given if we i.e. race organizers cancel the event. The refund will be as follows:
75% refund up to 9 weeks out from race date.
50% refund 6 weeks prior to race date.
No refunds to be given within 6 weeks of the race unless the organizers cancel the race in which case a refund of 90% will be given to all registered participants.

In case the transaction failed at the payment gateway stage, and if the money was debited but a confirmation was not generated, the payment gateway staff will do their best to trace the payment to the participant. In case they cannot, the money will be credited back to your account within 3 working days. However, please email runnersingoa@gmail.com with details of your registration - date of registration, name and your mail id and we will follow up to ensure the problem is tracked and closed.
